An empty room sells poorly. A furnished room is easy to picture.

In a photo, an empty room often looks smaller than it is, and the buyer cannot tell where a sofa would go. Virtual staging adds furniture and decor to your photos without moving anything in the property. We offer it in Gatineau, Ottawa and the surrounding areas.

The service books as an add-on to your photos on the booking form, where its price shows in Canadian dollars, before taxes. It suits vacant listings, estate sales and new builds, and any room whose purpose is unclear.

One piece of common sense: say in the listing that the photos are virtually staged. Buyers appreciate the clarity, and the in-person visit holds no surprise.

Staging works best when the underlying photos are good. A bright, straight, well-exposed photo of an empty room gives the staged version a solid base, which is why the service books with the HDR shoot and not as a separate visit. If a room has damage, stains or a layout problem, say so honestly in the listing: furniture added to a photo does not change the room.

Pick the rooms that count

The living room, dining room and primary bedroom are often the most useful to furnish. An empty bathroom speaks for itself.

Keep the empty photo too

Put the original photo next to the furnished version in the listing. The buyer compares and trusts you.
